David Ahn founded VeriFund after more than 25 years at the intersection of real estate investment and institutional finance.
He began his career in investment banking, where he participated in over $500 million of transactions, including IPOs and large-scale capital raises. He later transitioned into real estate investing, acquiring and financing over 2,000 residential units and more than 150,000 square feet of value-add retail properties across the United States.
That experience defines VeriFund’s approach.
Most mortgage brokers see a loan application. David sees a deal — and structures financing around it.
VeriFund was built for investors who want a financing partner with institutional discipline and entrepreneurial perspective. Whether you are acquiring your first rental or scaling a multi-asset portfolio, every transaction is evaluated with the same analytical rigor applied to institutional-level investments.
Our actions are guided by four guiding principles:
the 4 E's—that define every action, decision, and interaction at VeriFund
Efficiency
Time is capital. We prioritize speed, clarity, and execution—structuring and closing loans efficiently without compromising quality. Every process is designed to move deals forward.
Empowerment
We equip our clients with the insights and analysis needed to make disciplined, data-driven investment decisions—empowering them to build long-term wealth through real estate.
Excellence
We operate with institutional standards. Every transaction is approached with precision, discipline, and a commitment to delivering optimal financing outcomes.
Expertise
Our approach is rooted in real-world investing and institutional finance. We don’t just process loans—we understand deals, evaluate risk, and structure financing accordingly.
